Thank you
for visitng my site.
Art, nature,
growth and exploration are my life forces. These forces have taken
me in many directions and moved my artistic expression through a
variety of mediums.
Photography
increases my appreciation and awareness of the world around me.
Working with my photographic images to create fine digital artistry
allows me to celebrate the essence of the original image(s) as I
express and superimpose upon it my aesthetic and emotional reactions
to it. As a painter, I work intuitively, never knowing where my
painting is going but knowing when it is complete.
Although
I am primarily self-taught, I have studied with and assisted National
Geographic Photographer Ralph Lee Hopkins and world renowned color
landscape photographer and environmental activist Robert
Glenn Ketchum. I've taken painting workshops and classes with
many inspiring and wonderful teachers through the years.
