Thank you for visitng JeanneGadol.com. I've loved nature and art all my life and have worked with various mediums through the years.

My photography increases my appreciation and awareness of the natural world around me. Working with my photographic images to create fine digital artistry allows me to celebrate the essence of the original image(s) as I express and superimpose upon it my aesthetic and emotional reactions to it (learn more about my digital artistry).

Mixed media is my newest passion. I like to paint using acrylics ... exploring composition, color, and texture with this amazingly versatile medium. I then work a photograph into the piece to create new and entirely unique pieces.

Although I am primarily self-taught, I have studied with and assisted National Geographic Photographer Ralph Lee Hopkins and world renowned color landscape photographer and environmental activist Robert Glenn Ketchum. I've taken painting workshops and classes with many inspiring and wonderful teachers through the years.
